My Daughter had her last day of kindergarten last thursday and she told me she wanted to give her teacher a gift and she picked out a bubble gum machine candy dish we saw on pinterest. I used a 4 in pot and plate and a bubble bowl from the dollar store and a wooden ball flat on one side for the handle. I spray painted it watermelon and cut out her teacher's name in vinyl using stone script cricut cartridge. I glued everything together using e3000 and filled with hershey kisses.

1st birthday invitations

My son turns 1 next month and he just loves Mickey Mouse so much that we are making that the theme. Here is the invitation I have been working on for his party. I used the gypsy to weld Mickey from Disney Mickey and Friends to a square from George and Basic Shapes and then cut it out in white and then cut out all the layers as normal and then layered them ontop of the white one. The bottom layer of the card is black cardstock and the stars are just a loose cardstock from Hobby Lobby.

My daughter Trulie turned 4 this last month and she had a unicorn themed birthday party. These are the invitations I made for her party. The Unicorn is a horse from Animal Kingdom welded with a butterfly body from Gypsy Wanderings. The grass is from Plantin Schoolbook and the tag is also from Gypsy Wanderings. Pink glitter glue was used for the mane and tail and yellow glitter glue was used on the horn. The background was also embossed using the cuttlebug.

Halloween goodie bags

My daughter started school this year and of course yesterday was Halloween. Last week she asked me to make Halloween goodie bags for her class, how could I refuse, and of course its an excuse to use my cricut. So these are the goodie bags I made the pumpkin is from Gypsy Wanderings and cut at 2 1/4 inches, I cut it out in orange, yellow and green (using the hide contour feature on the yellow and green pumpkins) then cut the stems off the orange and yellow ones and layered them. The thought bubble is from George and Basic Shapes and cut at 2 1/4 inch width by 1 inch height. The stamp is a Studio G stamp.

and one for her teacher which includes a matching post it note holder.

Wow its been awhile since my last post. I have been very busy with life and have not had the time to scrapbook or make cards. Soon though I will have my own craft room and hopefully the craziness will die down! Here is a card that I made a while back using a digi stamp (sorry don't remember where I got it).

Ok so with 2 daughters being sick one with a regular head cold and the other with the stomach flu, I haven't had much time to make anything new. Heck with everything going on in my life right now I think I may have lost what little creativness I had. So anyways I decided to post somethings that I did a while back.

Here is the Birthday Party Invitation that I made for my daughter's 3rd birthday. I used cricut design studio to weld to pillows together to make the card all the cuts (except the Your Invited) are from Disney Happily Ever After Cart and I used the cricut markers to write the info on the invite. I cannot remember what cart I used for all the words. I used vellum and white glitter paper from Joanns for the shoe and popped it up with 3d foam.

The patterned paper is from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack. The envelope I folded using the Martha Stewart Scoring board.

Ever since I can remember every year I get my mom buildings to go in her Christmas village for Christmas on top of whatever her normal gift would be. (I guess you can say I made a tradition out of it.) Well this year I got her people and trees cause what good is a village without people right?! Well this is how I decided to wrap them. (Thanks to scrapalette on the Cricut Messageboard for the great idea) I used tissue paper stuffed on the inside so she can't see to much of what is in there and for the paper, the patterned paper I got at the dollar rack at Target and the cardstock I believe is recollections. I used the Christmas Noel Cart for the wreath and ornament, Tags, bags, boxes and more for the tags, and Beyond birthdays for the words.I used raffia to tie the tags to the bottle, Oh and we can't forget the 2 liter bottle! Thanks for looking
